The First two were inspired by the unforgiving disease, Breast Cancer. A personal scary experience.  In 5/2012 I found a pea sized lump in my right breast. As I mentioned it to my hubby, then my family, I was urged to have it checked out immediately! I was in no hurry because 1.) I'm in my early 30's and 2.) Breast Cancer doesn't run in my family.  A week or two passes by until I got fed up with being harassed by my loved ones about making the appt. to see my Doc. Well I finally did close to a month later and my Primary Doc. Said " eh, it's probably nothing but ill send ya for a Mammogram and an Ultrasound anyway." We'll my appt. was made at the beginning of June 2012, and I got my breast examined and  mammo'd by the Tech. The doctor saw me shortly and basically said the same thing as my Primary Doc. said " it's probably nothing, it looks like a fatty Tissue." As the Dr. Does the ultrasound, she realized that there was something actually next to the fatty pocket. she asks me if ok to to a biopsy , i then said " do what you need to do."  We'll long story short, that pea-sized lump was not a fatty tissue but a "Complex intracystical  Papillary Lesion" pre-cancerous, Thank My Sweet Lord! Within two weeks of that consultation at the Long Beach breast Center  i had the operation and got that little sucker out! Well, what was a pea -sized lump was actually the size of a golf ball when it was extracted out of my body. I thank God everyday for allowing me to find this lump when it was in its pre-cancerous stage! Had I not listened to my awesome and loving family it might have become malignant! Life lessonis don't take life to serious or for granted, enjoy your family and loved ones everyday, and Ladies self breast examine yourself and get to know your Tata's! I have become very much acquainted with them since! I count All of My Many BLESSINGS EVERYDAY!

The cupcake  Anya well, I have become a great cupcake baker for my kids! I love baking them delicious desserts!

Sorry, for the length and TMI!

Back to School Card

Good Morning,
Today I will be sharing a "Back to School" simply cute card.  It was inspired by my son who is now in 7th grade.  We recently moved from So Cal. to San Antonio Texas!  My son began his first day in a NEW SCHOOL on 8/26/2013. My son's Reading Teacher, Mrs. Castro, e-mailed me yesterday, 8/28/13, and Oh Lord Jesus, when I read the Subject Line I immediately handed my celly to hubby, thinking "oh my he is going to have a difficult year already." The teacher's e-mail was actually an awesome one.  It's only been four days since he began attending Kitty Hawk Middle School and this is what the e-mail said:

"Good Afternoon,
I am Jose’s Reading teacher Mrs. Castro. I just wanted to welcome you guys to a great new year of 7thgrade! I can already tell that Jose has a good head on his shoulders by his conversations in class! I am very excited to see what he brings to my seventh period class! Yesterday he gave a speech to his peers about going to college! I am very impressed with how he thinks! I will keep in touch throughout the year!

Have a great evening,

Amanda D. Castro
Kitty Hawk Middle School"

It's an awesome feeling knowing that OUR rants and Raves about the Importance of his Education and always Aiming High in all he does is not falling on Deaf Ears. I am truly Blessed to have such a smart, sweet young man as my son.  So this Little Back to School Card was inspired by Mrs. Castro and My Son.

Back To School

Hello Everyone!
We all LOVE our children, and though at times the summers seem Longer than others, there is no better feeling than sending your Kiddos off to school. LOL Today was the first day of 7th and 5th Grade for my kiddos, and since we relocated to a whole new city and State, ( San Antonio, Texas)  well I have been pretty busy unpacking over 150 boxes, setting up our new home, getting kids set up in school and transferring billing information to our new address! My crafting corner was the last to be set up, so I was only able to make a couple if bookmarks for my Princess! The bookmarks are a surprise and my Princess does not know that I secretly placed them in her pencil pouch along with a personal card I made her.  Though I am Happy that school started I will admit that the house feels empty with out them.
